Our place is out in Changodar, specifically at 556/B Tajpur Road. It’s just off the Sarkhej Bavla Highway, which makes it easy for the trucks to get in and out, though the road gets a bit dusty during the summer months. Maruti Rub Plast has been operating from this spot for quite some time. We deal with rubber and plastic items, and the machines are running most of the day. It gets loud inside the shed, but that’s just how it is when you’re making things. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we sit together when there’s a break. We aren't a big corporate office with fancy glass walls or anything like that. It’s an industrial area, so everything is practical. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage to keep the production going. Sanand is growing fast, so there are always new buildings going up around us. We remember when it was much quieter out here. Now there’s a lot more traffic on the highway. We just focus on the orders we have and try to get them finished on time. The floor is usually covered in scrap material until we clean up at the end of the shift. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of the local manufacturing scene here and getting the orders out of the door without making a big deal of it.
