Tejkaran Loonia

You can find us at 58 Hiralal Market on Diwan Ballubhai Road. It is a very different vibe here compared to the industrial zones. Being in a market means there are always people walking by, shouting, and bargaining. Tejkaran Loonia is a family-run thing, and we’ve been in this spot for a long time. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack things carefully to make sure there is room for everyone to move. We spend our days talking to people who come in looking for specific items. It’s a lot of conversation and drinking tea while looking through inventory. The market gets incredibly crowded during the festival seasons, and sometimes it’s hard to even get through the front door. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a team of people handling our public image. It’s just us behind the counter. We know our regulars by their first names and often end up chatting about the news or the weather more than the business itself. The shelves are a bit old, and the lighting could be better, but it feels like home to us. We’ve seen the street outside change a lot over the decades, but the way we handle our day-to-day work stays pretty much the same. We just show up, open the locks, and see who stops by today. There is always something new to talk about with the other shopkeepers near us.
