Manglam Alloys

The shop is out at Plot No. 3124/25/26 in the GIDC area. If you know the industrial zone, you know how it gets—lots of dust, noise from the neighbors, and plenty of trucks coming and going at all hours. We’ve got Manglam Alloys running across three plots here because we needed the extra space for the raw materials and the furnace work. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the shed traps all that heat, but the guys are used to it by now. We don't spend much time in the small office room because there’s always something to check on the floor. It’s mostly metal and sand around here. We’ve been here since the early days when this part of GIDC was still getting built up. Some of our machines are old, but they still run better than the new ones we tried a few years back. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just focus on the melting and the molds. Sometimes a shipment is late because of a breakdown, or we have to stay late to finish a batch, but that’s just part of the life. It’s a dirty job, your clothes get stained by the end of the shift, but we’re proud of the piles of parts we get out the door every week and the way we just keep things going without a fuss.
