Shree Laxmi Impex

Shree Laxmi Impex is located at 1470 Mamunayak Pole, right off Gandhi Road. This is one of those old parts of Ahmedabad where the lanes are narrow and full of history. Working in a pole means you are part of a very specific kind of community. The building is old, and it has that particular smell of aged wood and dust that you only find in these historic areas. We go through our daily tasks surrounded by the sounds of the neighborhood—people talking, scooters navigating the tight corners, and the occasional temple bell. Our work involves a lot of coordinating and making sure our import-export deals are on track. It’s not always easy to get large deliveries into this area, so we have to be pretty clever with how we handle logistics. The office is simple, with old fans and sturdy furniture that has been around for a long time. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a modern look. We just want to do our jobs and keep the business steady. Most of our day is spent on the phone or going through documents. When it gets too hot in the afternoon, we take a short break and then get back to it. It’s a way of life that hasn't changed much for us over the years. We are just part of the fabric of this old neighborhood, doing our work.
