Malviya Industries

Malviya Industries is situated right in the G.I.D.C. Estate at L- 568/569. If you know the layout of this industrial estate, you know it is mostly rows of sheds and workshops. We have two of those plots combined so there is enough room for all our equipment and the bits of material we keep on hand. It isn't a flashy place by any means. It is just a workspace filled with the tools and parts we need. We spend most of our time dealing with the small, daily tasks that come with running a business like this. The address at L- 568/569 is fairly easy to locate once you get used to how the G.I.D.C. blocks are numbered. Most of the people working here live in the nearby neighborhoods, so it feels like a very local operation. We don’t bother with fancy marketing or big brochures because the work usually just speaks for itself. It can get quite noisy on the floor when all the machines are running at the same time, but we don't mind the noise. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. The little tea stall just around the corner is where most of us end up during the afternoon break. There is no corporate ladder to climb here, just a group of people making sure things get finished on time. Being at this spot means we are surrounded by other workshops, so there’s always some kind of activity happening nearby. We’ve been here for years and don't expect to change much.
