Maitri Dental Clinic

If you are looking for us, we are in Suryam Square, units 106 and 107. We are right near the Karnawati Banglows-1 and not too far from Takshashila School Road. It’s a busy corner in Vastral, especially near the Swaminarayan Park Cross Road. The clinic isn't huge, but we have enough space for the chairs and the equipment. We hear the school kids outside sometimes when they are heading home. The area has grown a lot lately, so there is always some construction or new shop opening nearby. Inside the clinic, it smells like that minty cleaner we use for everything. We spend a lot of time looking at teeth and talking to people about brushing. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. The waiting room has some old magazines and a few chairs that are actually pretty comfortable. Sometimes the drill sound makes people a bit nervous, so we try to keep the radio playing in the background. We know most of the families in Vastral who come here. It’s a local spot where we recognize the faces. We aren't part of some big dental chain. It’s just our clinic in the square. We keep the instruments sterilized and the records in the back room. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. Most days are just back-to-back appointments until we close up for the evening. It’s a small team, and we all know exactly how the other person works by now.
