We are located at Mahindra & Mahindra Logistics Ltd, right in the Main Bajar area of Halol, which is in the Panchmahal district of Gujarat. It is a bit of a different atmosphere here than what you find in the big crowded cities. The local market is always lively and you eventually get to know almost all the neighbors around the office pretty well. Being situated in Halol means we are very close to a lot of the big factories, so there is always a steady demand for moving industrial parts and finished goods out to other places. Our office is a very practical space where we manage the local logistics for the area. It is not a fancy corporate building by any means, just a regular place in the bazaar where we can do our work and talk to the truck drivers. We spend a lot of time every day coordinating between the local manufacturing plants and the various transport routes. The weather in this part of Gujarat can get quite dry and dusty, but that is just part of life here. We don't have a big marketing department writing fancy things for us to say. It is just us, the local staff, making sure the trucks are loaded correctly and all the paperwork is signed and filed. We have been part of this small community for a good while now. Most of our days involve checking schedules and talking to people over a cup of hot tea. It is a simple routine.
