My name is Maheshbhai Shambhubhai Parmar and I run M M P Buildcon. We are located behind the Raska Check Post Police Chowki on Raska Canal Road. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we like being near the canal road. It stays fairly quiet except for the police check post activity nearby. Being the proprietor, I'm usually involved in everything from the initial planning to the final checks on a job. It’s a lot of responsibility but I've been doing this for a long time. The office is pretty basic. We have what we need to get the job done and not much else. Most of our work is out on the field, so I’m often in the truck driving between sites. When I am in the office, I'm usually catching up on invoices or talking to the guys about the next phase of construction. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't use any fancy talk here. If something is broken, we fix it. If a wall needs to go up, we build it. We’ve gotten to know the people around the Raska area quite well over the years. It’s a practical way to make a living and I enjoy seeing a project come together from just a patch of dirt. We aren't a huge corporation, just a local builder trying to do a solid job every day. It's tough work sometimes but it feels good at the end of the day.
