Mahendra Medical

Mahendra Medical is located right at No. 18 in the Shanti Commercial Centre. Being in Gheekanta means things are always moving around us, especially with Nagar Seth No Vando being such a close landmark. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it organized enough so that we don’t trip over the boxes. Most days start with opening up the shutters and letting some air into the place before the sun gets too high. We spend quite a bit of time just standing behind the counter or moving things from the back to the front. The Shanti Commercial Centre has a lot of different businesses, so we see all sorts of people walking by our door at No. 18 throughout the day. Near Nagar Seth No Vando, the streets can get pretty crowded, which makes parking a bit of a headache for everyone, including us. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves packed with various supplies and the sound of the ceiling fan clicking away. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we work. We take our lunch breaks when things get a little quiet in the afternoon, sitting on the stools and watching the street. It’s a regular routine that doesn’t change much from one week to the next. Gheekanta has its own rhythm, and we’ve just become a small part of that over the years. We just stay busy with our stock.
