Mahadev Construction Pvt. Ltd. is found at A/72 in Jalpa Society. This is right behind Harihar Society in the Naroda area of Ahmedabad. We have been in this part of Gujarat for quite some years. The office is part of the residential society, so it feels very much like a local neighborhood business. We do a lot of our planning and meetings right here at the big wooden table. It’s often cluttered with project files and site photos. The air conditioner is a bit old and clunky, but it does the job during those hot Ahmedabad summers. We are a small team and most of us have known each other for a long time. We don't have fancy receptionists or a lobby. If you walk in, you'll probably just see someone on the phone or typing away at a laptop. The neighbors are used to us by now. We spend most of our time out at construction sites, but this is where we return to handle the bills and the payroll. It’s a simple setup that works for what we do. We try to stay organized, but with so many projects going on, there is always something to catch up on. Being based in Naroda makes it easy for us to reach different parts of the city quickly. The street outside is usually quiet except for the afternoon. We have a small collection of hard hats by the door.
