Madhu Glasstex Pvt. Ltd.

We have been over at Odhav for quite some time now. Madhu Glasstex Pvt. Ltd. is located at 27 Gvm Indl. Estate, and it is a typical Ahmedabad workspace. The air is often thick with the smell of the industrial units nearby, and it gets incredibly hot during the summer months. We work with glass textiles and fiber-related stuff, so there is always a bit of a scratchy feeling in the air from the materials. It is not a glamorous job by any means. Our workshop at Odhav 5 is mostly filled with rolls of fabric and glass materials that we process and pack up. The floors are concrete and we have old fans that mostly just move the hot air around. Everyone here knows the routine, from the guys on the floor to the people handling the bills in the small office area. We don't have a lot of visitors, just the usual delivery trucks and people we have known for years in the estate. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just how it is working in this part of town. We keep the machines running as much as we can and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a bit messy and loud, but we are used to the grind of the industrial estate and just get on with it.
