Machine Products [India] Pvt. Ltd. is located at 41, Gidc Estate. If you know the industrial estates around here, you know they all kind of look the same after a while. Lots of grey buildings and the smell of oil and cut metal. We’ve been at this spot for years, and it’s basically our second home. Most of the guys have their own way of doing things, and we don't interfere much as long as the parts come out right. There’s always a stack of raw material sitting by the door waiting to be processed. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three trucks show up at the same time and there’s no room to move the forklift. We just figure it out as we go. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere; it’s a working shop floor. The fans do their best but they mostly just move the hot air around. We have a small desk near the back where the ledgers are kept. It’s nothing fancy. People come in, do their shift, and head out. We talk about the cricket scores or the weather while we’re cleaning up the shavings at the end of the day. It’s a straightforward life. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. If people need machine products, they usually just find their way to us at the estate.
