Our place is at Shop No 700 in Shakdi Sheri. This is right in the heart of Manek Chowk in Ahmedabad. We are quite close to Lakha Patels Pole. If you know the old city, you know how these narrow streets work. It is a very traditional area. Our shop is small but it is where all the design work happens. Manek Chowk is famous for its food and its jewelry, but we are tucked away in the lanes doing our own thing. The street outside is usually full of scooters and people walking by. It can be quite a squeeze sometimes. We don't have a big fancy office. It is just a local shop where we sit and work on our designs. The walls are covered with sketches and notes. We have been here for a while and the neighbors all know us. It is a noisy, vibrant part of Ahmedabad. Sometimes the smell of street food drifts in during the evenings. We spend most of our hours here, just focused on the tasks we have. It is an honest environment. We don't use any corporate talk or have big marketing meetings. We just talk to the people who come in and get the drawings finished. Being near Lakha Patels Pole gives us a sense of history. It is a good spot for a design business that stays connected to the roots of the city.
