Lycos Industrial Works

Lycos Industrial Works is based in Ahmedabad, specifically in the Isanpur area. We are in the Prerna Society at Paras Nagar. It’s an industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around. We do industrial work, which covers a lot of ground. Some days it’s metalwork and other days it’s helping with parts for machines. The workshop is always a bit dusty but that’s normal for this kind of business. We’ve been at B/15 Part-1 for quite some time now. Most of our workers live nearby in Ahmedabad. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. Most people find us because they heard about us from someone else in the trade. It’s a practical way to run a business. We focus on the machines and getting the orders out. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is annoying. But we make up for it by working late. Dealing with industrial parts requires a bit of patience. Things don't always go right the first time. We just keep at it until the job is done. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we are used to it by now. Isanpur is a busy place to be, but it's good for business. We don't mind the grime and the sweat. It's just what we do to get by in the city.
