We have our office in Ahmedabad, specifically on the seventh floor of the 3rd Eye Vision building. We are in Suite 703. This is in the University Area, near the 3rd Panjara Pol. It’s a very different vibe from the rural parts of Gujarat. Being on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, but we are usually too busy to look out the window. Lucre Exim and Retail deals with both international trade and local retail markets. It’s a fast-paced environment here in Ahmedabad. The building is usually full of people and the elevators are always busy. We work from this office to coordinate our retail efforts and manage our import-export documents. The University Area is a lively place to be, with lots of students and shops nearby. It makes the workday go by quickly. Our space is organized but definitely looks like a place where people actually work, with papers and samples scattered around. We don’t have a corporate lobby or a bunch of receptionists. It is just us in the office getting the job done. Dealing with both retail and export means we have to switch gears quite often. One minute we are talking about a local store order and the next we are dealing with shipping containers. It’s a busy city life and we are right in the thick of it. We take our lunch breaks at the local spots nearby and then get back to work.
