Light Inside

Our shop is on the first floor, FF-5, inside Maruti Arcade. It’s right there at the Shivaranjani Char Rasta in Satellite. If you know Ahmedabad, you know how busy that intersection gets. There is always a lot of honking and people rushing by. We’ve been in this arcade for a while. It’s a good spot because everyone passes through this area at some point. The shop itself isn't huge. We have things tucked into corners and stacked up because space is tight. We focus on lighting, so the place is usually quite bright inside. It’s funny because when you walk in from the dusty street, it’s like a different world for a second. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, answering questions and helping people find what they need. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background. The morning sun hits the windows in a certain way that makes it quite hot before we turn the fans on. We know the other shop owners in Maruti Arcade pretty well. We often share tea in the afternoons. It’s a very normal way to spend a day. We’ve had the same sign out front for ages. It’s a bit faded now, but people still find us. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up and open the doors every morning and see what the day brings for us.
