Life Insurace Corporation Of India has an office at B/17 Vaikunth Vihar Society in Ahmedabad. We are located right opposite the Galaxy Cinema in the Naroda area. Having the cinema across the street makes it very easy for people to find where we are. Our office is inside a residential society, so it has a very different feel than the big glass buildings downtown. It is a small place filled with cupboards for all the insurance policies we manage. We spend our time talking to people from the neighborhood who come in to pay their premiums or ask about their plans. Ahmedabad is known for being very hot, and our office is no exception during the summer months. We just keep the files moving and try to help everyone who walks through the door. It is a very basic setup with old desks and chairs that have been here for years. We don't have a big marketing department or any polished sales pitches. We just handle the claims and the paperwork as they arrive. Naroda is a busy part of town and the traffic near the Galaxy Cinema can get pretty hectic in the evenings.
