Our place is at the Naroda Business Hub, specifically unit 318. It’s right across from the Satvagreen Party Plot in the Muthiya village area of Ahmedabad. We call ourselves Library Artisans because we deal with things related to books and spaces, but it’s more of a practical operation than it sounds. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to organize information and physical items. The office is often full of samples and prototypes, so it can get a little messy. It’s not a corporate headquarters; it’s more of a workshop feel. We’ve been in this part of Ahmedabad for a while and we like being a bit further out from the main city center traffic. It's a bit quieter here. We have a small team of people who really know their stuff. Sometimes we’re busy with deliveries and other times we’re just sitting around a table trying to solve a design problem. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. We just wear whatever is comfortable for the work. Most of our days are spent coordinating with suppliers or checking on the quality of what we’re putting together. It’s honest work and we enjoy it. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in the world, just to do good work from our little corner in Naroda. People usually find us through someone they know. That’s fine by us. We just keep our heads down and focus on what’s right in front of us. No big mystery.
