Our workspace is up on the 10th floor of the Samudra Annexe building. It is located in Sardar Patel Nagar, right in the Navrangpura area of Ahmedabad. Being in suite 1003 means we have a pretty decent view of the city, especially when the weather is clear. We are across from a place called Shantanu, which most locals know. We’ve been working as Leadleap Consulting for a while, and this office has become our second home. It’s not a very big space, and it usually feels a bit crowded with all the files and books we have lying around. We don’t really bother with expensive furniture or decorations because we are usually too busy to look at them. We just have our desks and our computers. The elevators in the building can be a bit moody sometimes, so you might have to wait a minute or two to get up to the tenth floor. We don’t have a formal way of doing things here. We just show up, have some tea, and start working on whatever is on the list for the day. It’s a practical environment. We don’t make big claims about what we do; we just try to be helpful and get the job finished. Most of us have lived in Ahmedabad all our lives, so we like being in this part of town. It feels real and busy. We are just a bunch of consultants doing our best.
