Leading Retail Dev. Co.

We are based out of C/502 in the Kalatirth Apartment complex. It's right across from the Kirti Sagar Towers in the Jodhpur area of Ahmedabad. It feels more like a lived-in space than a big office. We do retail development work here. That means we spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at plans for stores. The address is 380 015 if you’re looking at a map. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We have a small kitchen area where someone usually leaves a lunch box. The view out the window is just the street and the other towers. Ahmedabad gets very dusty, so we are always cleaning the desks. We started here because it was convenient. Now we just have too much stuff to move. Papers are everywhere. We try to keep track of all the retail projects, but sometimes things get messy. It’s a local operation. We don’t have a receptionist; you just walk in and find whoever you need. The lift in the building is a bit slow and makes a weird clanking sound sometimes. Usually, we just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too many heavy folders. We go through a lot of pens. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to get through the week. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for long afternoons. It's not glamorous but we get the job done right here in Jodhpur.
