Gita Texopack

We are tucked away in the Sardar Patel Timber Market, right behind Gita Mandir. Being in Lati Bazar means it’s always dusty and there are trucks moving around all the time. Our spot is at number 3-9. We deal with packaging materials, mostly for the textile businesses around here. It’s a lot of rolls of plastic and heavy paper, so the floor is usually covered in scraps. It isn't the cleanest place, but we work hard to get the orders out. The noise from the timber saws next door is constant, so we have to talk a bit louder. We have been here long enough that we know all the neighbors. Most of the time, we are just moving crates or loading up a small van for a delivery across town. We don’t have a fancy front desk. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the warehouse area and find one of us. It’s a bit of a maze with all the stacks of boxes, but we know our way around. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break when the sun is at its highest. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to get through the daily list of things to do. We don’t make a big fuss about it. We’ve been at this for a long time and the routine just works for the whole crew.
