Larsen & Toubro Ltd.- Hcp Divison

We are over here at the L&T Yard in Deodar, which is part of the Banas Katha district in Gujarat. It’s a busy spot, mostly run by Rakesh Ku Singh and the rest of us in the HCP Division. The sun gets pretty hot out here in the yard, but we just keep things moving. We deal with a lot of machinery and heavy stuff every day. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where the work actually happens. People come and go, trucks pull in, and there is always something needing to be moved or checked. Most of the guys have been here a while and know the layout like the back of their hand. We don't really do much besides the daily tasks of the division. If you are looking for us, you have to head out toward Deodar. It's a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from, but this is where the equipment stays. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is working in this part of Gujarat. We don't spend much time on paperwork unless we have to, preferring to be out in the yard seeing what needs doing next. It's a plain sort of life here, just getting the job done day after day. We keep our own hours mostly, depending on what the project needs at the time. The cattle in the nearby fields sometimes wander near the fence, which is about the only excitement we get around here.
