Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Ecc Division

We are up on the 10th floor of the Sakar-II building. It’s right near Ellisbridge on Ashram Road in Ahmedabad. Being Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Ecc Division, this is where we handle a lot of the Gujarat operations. Ashram Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the traffic downstairs, but it gets quieter once you get up to the tenth floor. We have a good view of the city from our windows. The building is one of those older commercial spots, but it works for us. We’ve got our desks and files spread out across the office. Most mornings start with tea and going over the project lists. Ellisbridge is a landmark everyone knows, so it’s easy to tell people where we are. The Pin-380006 area is pretty central. We don't really do the whole corporate makeover thing; the walls are a bit plain and we use what we have. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork throughout the day. The elevators can be slow when everyone is trying to get to work at nine. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. It’s a solid base for the ECC division. We just come in, do the work, and head home. There’s no big fancy reception, just us at our desks making sure things stay on track for the various sites we manage from here. It is just a regular office life for us in Ahmedabad.
