We are located at House Number 24 in the Nilkant Society over in Hanuman Tekri. Palanpur is a pretty quiet place overall. Working from a house feels different than being in a big commercial park. We have our desks set up in the main rooms of the house. The Nilkant Society is a nice enough neighborhood. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. People here in Gujarat like to keep things simple, and we are no different. This ECC Division office doesn't have a big corporate logo or anything like that. We just have a small nameplate on the gate. The rooms are filled with files and maps from the various jobs we are looking after. Sometimes it gets a little cramped when everyone is in the house at the same time. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze. It’s a practical way to run things without all the extra overhead. We know the local shopkeepers nearby. The walk from the main gate of Hanuman Tekri is short. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It’s just a group of us handling the local projects. We take our work seriously but we don't feel the need to act like we're in a big corporate movie. It’s just an honest day’s work in a regular house. We get by just fine with our current setup and the local surroundings.
