L&T Ecc Division, Hazira, Surat

This office is located at 32 Sarvodaya Society, which is near the K K Nagar Cross Road in the Ghatlodiya area of Ahmedabad. Even though our work is tied to the Hazira project in Surat, this is where we handle a lot of the administrative and engineering coordination. The building is in a residential society, so it feels more like a house than a typical office. There is a small porch where we park a couple of scooters. Inside, the rooms have been turned into workspaces with desks and computers. It is much quieter here than it is at the actual project site in Surat. The neighborhood has a lot of trees, which helps keep the place a bit cooler in the Ahmedabad heat. We have shelves filled with files and binders dating back to the start of the project. Sometimes we have meetings in the main living room area, pulling up plastic chairs for everyone. The staff gets along well, and we often share snacks from the local shops in Ghatlodiya. It is not a place with a lot of signage or corporate branding. We are just a team working through the paperwork and planning that goes into the industrial work at Hazira. Most people walking by probably wouldn't even know it was an L&T office. It is a simple, honest place to work where we just focus on the tasks we have for the day without any fuss.
