Tanu Electronics

If you’re in Ahmedabad and walking around Laldarwaja, you might see us. We are right opposite the Sidi Saiyed’s Jali, which is a famous spot. We’re also quite close to the Food Inn Hotel. Tanu Electronics has been in this area for a long time. We handle all sorts of electronics, whether it’s selling something new or trying to fix something that’s stopped working. The shop isn't very large, and it’s often filled with the smell of solder and old dusty circuit boards. Laldarwaja is a very crowded area, so there’s always people passing by our door. We like the location because it’s right in the heart of things. You get all kinds of people coming in with different problems. Some want a new remote, others have a TV that won't turn on. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us behind the counter. We try to be honest about whether something can be fixed or if it’s better to just get a new one. The street noise outside is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest electronics store in Ahmedabad. We just want to be the place where people can come and get their gadgets sorted out without a lot of hassle. It’s a simple life, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for years.
