Our office is located at J 703 in the Aakash Residency. This is over in Sky City, which is part of Shela village near Sanand. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the industrial parts of the city. We run L Patels Exports Llp from this space. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of phone calls to different parts of the world. My cousin and I handle the logistics and the paperwork for the exports. We chose this spot because it’s close to home and easy to get to. Sky City has grown a lot lately and there are new shops opening up everywhere. We usually start our day early with a cup of tea while we check the overnight emails. It’s not like a big corporate office with hundreds of people. It’s just us two making sure the shipments are moving on time. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit crowded when we have boxes waiting for the courier, but we try to keep it tidy. We don't really do much advertising. Most people hear about us from other traders in the Sanand area. We like the view from the seventh floor when the sun goes down. It’s a simple business model and we keep things very straightforward. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just get the job done for our clients and call it a day when the paperwork is finished.
