Korat Plast

Korat Plast is located at Shop Number 3 in Shital Park. We are right across from the Kubereshwer Mahadev temple on Gayatri Society Road. It’s a small shop, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Being near the temple means there is always a lot of activity and people walking by, especially in the mornings. Our space is mostly taken up by samples of plastic products and various bags that we deal with. It’s not a fancy place at all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is a bit stained from all the boots coming in and out. We spend our days talking to local buyers and suppliers who drop by. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. We keep our accounts in big ledgers and on an old computer that takes its time to start up. Most of the work involves checking the quality of the plastic and making sure the counts are right before things get sent out. It’s dusty work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We don't have any formal uniforms or corporate rules. We just come in, do the work, and chat with the neighbors who stop by for a minute. It’s a regular life in a regular part of Naroda, and we just keep at it.
