K.M.Patel & Co., C.G.Road, Ahmedabad

K.M.Patel & Co. has been around for some time, even though our main office address points to Chandkheda in Gandhinagar while we are linked to C.G. Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a bit of a commute between the two, but that’s just how it is. We are located at Vindhyachal Nagar in the G H Board area. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something going on outside our windows. We started small and just kept going. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and sitting at desks handling the accounts and client files. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just do the work and hope people are happy with it. The office is a bit crowded with papers and old files, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, then it's back to the ledgers. Living and working around Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar means you get used to the heat and the traffic. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. New buildings go up, but we’re still here in our same spot in block 540. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some huge corporation. We’re just local people helping other local people with their needs. We manage our own schedules and try to get home before it gets too late. It’s just how we run things.
