Khimji Ramdas

Khimji Ramdas has a branch located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We are over at E/8 Yagnapurushnagar. It’s a fairly straightforward office setup in a part of the city that is well-established. We don’t have any of those modern, flashy office features you see in the tech parks. Our space is functional and feels like a place where things actually get done. There are desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of shipping documents. We handle a variety of trading and distribution tasks from this location. The staff is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. Ahmedabad is a fast-moving city, but our corner of Yagnapurushnagar has its own rhythm. We get a lot of phone calls and visits from local vendors throughout the day. We don't really have a corporate philosophy written on the wall; we just focus on making sure the inventory moves in and out correctly. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we just clear it out and keep moving. There’s a lot of manual work involved in keeping the records straight and making sure the deliveries are on time. We take our tea breaks together and just talk about the day’s work. It’s a very simple, unpolished way of doing business, which is exactly how we like it. No big speeches, just everyday tasks handled by real people.
