Kaveri Motors

Kaveri Motors is tucked into the Kaveri Bldg on Bapu Bagwe Road, specifically over in the Kanderpada area of Dahisar West. It’s a local spot that a lot of people in the neighborhood have walked past a hundred times. We don’t have a massive neon sign or anything like that; we just have our name on the building. Being in Dahisar West means things can get a bit crowded, especially when the trains are running full and everyone is trying to get somewhere at once. We’re usually here early in the morning, getting things ready for whatever the day brings. The office is pretty simple, with some old desks and plenty of paper files. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by. It’s a lot of practical talk about motors and maintenance. We aren’t the type to use big words or try to impress anyone. We just tell it like it is. If something is broken, we say so. If it’s fine, we say that too. Sometimes the rainy season makes the road a bit messy, but we just keep the doors open and keep working. It’s a solid place to work, and we know most of the other shop owners on Bapu Bagwe Road by name. It feels like a real community here, where everyone is just trying to make a living.
