Vijya Industries

Vijya Industries is situated at No. 41 Panchratna Estate, which is right behind Zaveri Estate in Kathwada. It’s an industrial patch where everyone is busy doing their own thing. We have a decent-sized space where we handle our manufacturing work. There is always a smell of metal and coolant in the air, which is pretty standard for this neighborhood. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks from the heavy machinery we’ve moved around over the years. We don’t have a dedicated sales team or anything like that. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone while trying to check a measurement on the shop floor. We do a lot of small-batch work for other businesses in the area. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, making sure the specs are correct before we run the whole lot. Our desks are covered in blueprints and old coffee mugs. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes we help each other out with tools or supplies if someone runs short. It’s a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. We just focus on the machines and the orders that need to go out by the end of the week. It’s a simple, busy life here in Kathwada, and we wouldn't have it any other way really. Just making things and moving on to the next job.
