We are over at Plot No. 146 on Road No. 5 in the Gidc. It’s an engineering workshop, so you can expect a fair amount of noise from the drills and lathes most days. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit. The floor is usually covered in some metal shavings and oil, which is pretty standard for what we do. It’s not a showroom, it’s a place where things get built and repaired. We have a few older machines that still work great and some newer ones we added last year. Road No. 5 is usually busy with people moving parts around, so it can be a bit of a squeeze for the bigger trucks. We don’t really have a big office staff, just a couple of people to handle the bills and the phone while the rest of us are out on the floor. It’s a lot of hands-on work. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves. We aren't interested in looking like a big fancy firm; we just want to get the engineering jobs finished so they can be picked up. Most of our regulars know to just walk through the side door to find us. It gets a bit hot in the summer under the tin roof, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. It’s just honest work in a busy industrial area where everyone knows each other by their first names.
