Prime Machine Tools

Prime Machine Tools is located at 30 Tribuvan Industrial Estate in Kathwada. Being near the GIDC means we are surrounded by workshops and factories. The sound of metal hitting metal is something you just get used to here. Our place is full of heavy parts, wrenches, and the smell of machine oil. It’s a workshop environment, so don't expect it to be clean. There are grease marks on the door handles and the floor is stained from years of work. We spend our days looking at specifications and handling heavy tools. It’s physical work and your hands are rarely clean by lunchtime. The industrial estate is a bit far from the main city, so it feels like its own little world. We have a small cabin in the corner where we keep the books and take some calls, but most of the time is spent out on the floor. There is a small tea stall just outside the estate gate where we go for breaks. The sun beats down on the corrugated metal roofs, making it pretty hot in the afternoons. We don't have any flashy signs or a showroom. If you need a tool or a part, you just come in and ask. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars know exactly where to find us. It’s a rough and ready kind of life, but it suits us just fine. We just work hard and try to get everything finished before the sun goes down.
