Micro Polynics is situated right across from Road No. 2 at Plot No. 262 in the Kathwada GIDC area. You cannot miss us because we are right opposite that big New G. E. B. Sub Station. Being near the power station means we usually have a good connection, which is lucky for our machines. We deal with polymers and plastic stuff mostly. The warehouse is filled with bags of raw material stacked high up to the ceiling. It can get pretty cramped when a new shipment arrives. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is scorching outside. We have a small team here, and everyone chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it is running the extruders or sweeping up the pellets that always seem to escape the bags. The noise from the sub station is just background hum to us now. We have some old desks in the corner for the office work, usually covered in samples and bits of plastic. It is a practical setup without any unnecessary trimmings. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a specific run, especially if one of the machines decides to act up in the middle of the afternoon. We have been in Kathwada for a while, and the local tea stall owner knows exactly how we like our snacks. It is a hard-working environment, and we just focus on getting the day's tasks done without a lot of talking.
