Magy Impex is based out of Plot No. 170 on Road No. 4 in the Gidc area. If you know Gidc, you know how these roads are laid out. Our building is a simple grey structure with a heavy iron gate that squeaks every time we open it. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and boxes stacked up high. We don't really have a fancy front office, just a desk near the entrance where we keep the logbooks. The light isn't the best in the back corners, so we use some handheld lamps when we need to find something specific. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking the labels before they get sent out. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all walk or bike in. The morning starts with a quick check of what arrived late the day before. We usually have the radio playing some local station to keep the background noise from being too dull. Road No. 4 can get blocked up with big trailers, so we try to get our loading done before the lunch hour hits. It’s not the most exciting place to be, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. We focus on the tasks at hand and don't worry too much about the rest. It's just a steady daily grind in a busy industrial zone that we have been part of for several years now.
