Jay Industries

Jay Industries is located at 32 Shyam Industrial Estate. We’re a bit tucked away, specifically behind Zaveri Estate—it is actually listed as being behind it twice on some maps—on the Singarva-Kathwada Road in the Kathwada area. It’s a real industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving and the sound of machinery in the distance. Our space isn’t fancy—it’s an industrial unit where we actually get things made. There’s usually a bit of dust and grease around, but that’s just part of the job. We make various parts and equipment, and it’s a lot of hands-on work. Most of us here have been doing this for years, so we know the machines inside and out. It’s not a quiet office environment; it’s a place where things are being built. We don’t have a dedicated sales team or anything like that. Usually, if the phone rings, it’s one of us picking it up with a wrench still in the other hand. We just worry about the work being done right instead of making things look pretty. Some days are long, especially when a machine breaks down or we have a big deadline to meet. But we like the work. It feels good to see a finished product ready to be shipped out. We’re just a local industrial outfit, trying to do right by our customers and keep the machines running. It can be hard work, but we've got a good rhythm going now. It's just what we do every day.
