Our place is situated on Road No. 9 in the GIDC area, spanning across several plots from 388 to 409. It’s a large enough space for the kind of fabrication and technical work we handle. Most of our days are filled with the sound of metal cutting, welding sparks, and machines running. We are a technocraft business, which basically means we make and fix parts for other industries nearby. It’s a noisy environment, and everyone wears their gear to stay safe while they work. The floor is covered in tools and raw materials most of the time. We aren’t much for sitting in offices; most of us, including the supervisors, are out on the floor making sure the parts are being made to the right specs. GIDC is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes getting the raw steel delivered on time is a bit of a struggle, but we make do with what we have in stock. We’ve got a group of skilled guys who have been doing this for a long time. They don't need much instruction anymore. We don't have any shiny signs or big advertisements. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our work at other sites. It's hard work, and the heat from the welding torches makes the summers even tougher, but we get the job done and move on to the next project. It is what it is.
