Running a business out of an apartment building in an industrial zone makes for an interesting day. We are surrounded by factories and large estates, yet we are tucked into this residential-style block. It is a bit of a maze to get here if you aren't familiar with Kathwada. Most of our day is spent dealing with the paperwork and logistics that come with being in a G.I.D.C. zone. The office is small and usually filled with the sound of a ceiling fan clicking and the distant hum of machinery from the nearby estates. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine for guests. If you come by, you’ll probably just sit on a plastic chair while we finish up whatever we are doing. It is a very personal way to run things, and many of the people we work with have become friends over the years. We know the security guards at the estate across the way and the guys at the tea stall down the street. It’s a busy, dusty place to be, but it’s where we have built our life and our work. We don't plan on moving anytime soon because we are right where the action is, even if it’s a bit cramped in this apartment. We just keep doing what we do.
