Rk Clothin

If you are looking for us, we are up on the first floor at C-165 in the Safal 2 building. It is tucked away behind Vanijaya Bhavan here in Kankaria. Maninagar is always a busy area so finding a parking spot can be a real headache sometimes. We started Rk Clothin because we knew a bit about fabrics and thought we could make a go of it. The shop isn't very large, just enough room for the racks and a small desk where we do the paperwork. It gets quite bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We spend a lot of our time checking the stitching on the shirts and trousers we get in. It is mostly just two or three of us here during the day. We try to keep things organized but when a big shipment arrives, there are boxes everywhere for a few days. We know the other shop owners around Safal 2, so we often go out for tea together in the evenings. It is a nice community to be part of. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It is just a practical space where we handle our clothing business. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up carrying bundles up the stairs, which is quite the workout. Anyway, that is pretty much what goes on here daily. We just try to keep things simple and get the orders ready for when people come to pick them up.
