Falcon Emergency Air and Train Ambulance Services is based on Khoja Society Road, near Kankaria in Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty busy area with the lake nearby and lots of people around. Our work is quite different from the shops or offices on the street. We deal with transport for people who are sick or hurt and need to get somewhere else fast. The office is always on alert. You never know when the phone is going to ring with a request for a train ambulance or a flight coordination. It can be a bit stressful, to be honest. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking schedules. The staff here are used to the fast pace. We don't have time for a lot of fluff or long meetings. When a call comes in, everyone knows what they have to do. The ambulances and the gear have to be ready at all times. Ahmedabad traffic can be a nightmare, so we have to plan things carefully to make sure there are no delays. We’ve been operating from this Khoja Society location for a while. It’s a practical base for us. Sometimes we’re here late into the night, just making sure a patient has arrived safely at their destination. It’s a job that feels important, even if it’s exhausting. We just try to keep things moving and help out as best as we can.
