We've been running U. P. Export Corporation Ltd. from our spot in the Kamdhenu Complex for quite a while now. If you know the area near Polytechnic Char Rasta, you probably know where the Lal Bunglow is. That’s where we are. It’s a busy part of town, which keeps us on our toes. Most days, we’re just here handling the paperwork and making sure everything gets where it needs to go. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to get work done. We started out small and stayed around this neighborhood because it’s easy for people to find us. Sometimes the traffic at the intersection gets a bit loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We deal with exports, mostly handling the logistics side of things. It's a lot of phone calls and checking lists. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a tea kettle that’s always on. People stop by sometimes just to drop off documents or ask questions about shipping. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth seems to work well enough for us. We just focus on getting the tasks finished by the end of the day. It’s a steady pace. Usually, we close up right on time, unless there’s a big shipment pending and we have to stay late to finish the logs. It’s a decent living and we like the people around the Polytechnic area.
