You can find us at 626/5 in the Vora Building, right in the heart of Kapasia Bazar. If you know Kalupur, you know how crowded it gets around here with all the shops and people moving back and forth. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years, and it’s always a bit of a scramble getting things inside through the narrow lanes. The building itself has seen better days, but it works for us. Mostly we deal with whoever walks through the door or the regular folks we’ve known for ages. It gets pretty loud outside during the peak hours, but inside we just focus on the stock and the orders. My brother and I handle most of it ourselves. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few guys who help with the heavy lifting when the crates come in. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the street a mess, but we stay open regardless. It’s a family thing, really. We grew up seeing how things are done in the market, so it felt natural to just keep going. We don’t do much fancy advertising; people just know we’re here in the Vora Building. We keep the books on the desk and the inventory piled up high. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from morning till the evening prayer.
