Sea Hawk Garments.

If you find yourself in Kalupur near the old well, you’ll probably see us. Sea Hawk Garments is located at No. 1864, right near Kuwa Hajiras Pole. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows each other’s business. We spend most of our time surrounded by piles of fabric and the constant hum of sewing machines. It gets pretty loud in here when all the work is going at once, but we’re used to it. The space isn't very big, so we have to be careful where we stack the finished pieces so they don’t get wrinkled or dirty on the floor. Most of us have been working here for years, and we know exactly which pile of cloth is for which order just by looking at the color. Kalupur is a crowded place, especially in the afternoons when the sun is hitting the pole, but we just keep our heads down and finish the stitching. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops for a bit, so we sit outside and wait. There’s always someone drinking tea nearby or a cart pushing past the doorway. It’s not a fancy factory by any means. It’s just a workshop where we put clothes together, check the seams, and pack them into bags for the market. We don't use big computers for everything; mostly we just write things down in a notebook and keep moving. We are proud of the work we do even if it's just a small shop in a busy alleyway.
