You can find us at 965 Kalupur, which is right near Rajamehtani Pole. It’s a bit of a maze around here, especially being opposite Atul Dudhia on Karniwala Salai Road. We are also behind the Kannappa Hotel, so there are plenty of landmarks if you get turned around. Karani Bangles Stores is a colorful place, to say the least. We have boxes upon boxes of bangles stacked up to the ceiling. Glass, metal, plastic—you name it, it’s probably in one of those boxes. The old city of Kalupur is always buzzing, and our store is right in the thick of it. The noise from the street never really stops, but inside, we're focused on the tiny details of the jewelry. It’s a family-run feel, even if not everyone is related. We know the history of this area well. Sometimes the shop feels like it’s bursting at the seams because we have so much stock. We don't have a fancy display window, just shelves and counters where we lay things out for people to see. It’s a bit dusty because of the location, but we try to keep the bangles shining. People come here for weddings or just everyday wear. We don't do much talking other than helping folks find the right size or color. It’s a practical business that’s been part of the Kalupur landscape for a good while. We just keep the traditions going without making a big deal of it and focus on the daily grind and the customers.
