Abhigaail - Womens Wear Manufacturer

Located at 527/4, outside the Panchkuva Gate in Kalupur, Ahmedabad, this is where we do all the manufacturing for Abhigaail. If you know this part of Ahmedabad, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving around. It’s a busy area, especially near the gate. Our space is tucked away in the middle of all that noise. Inside, you’ll find rows of sewing machines and stacks of different fabrics piled up on tables. It’s a women’s wear place, so there’s always thread and scraps of cloth on the floor by the end of the shift. We aren’t a big corporate office; it’s more of a workshop where people are actually sitting and stitching all day long. The building is older, like most of the structures in Kalupur, and the stairs are a bit narrow when we’re carrying rolls of fabric up and down. We start the day by sorting through what needs to be cut and what needs to be sewn. There’s no air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that stay on all day to keep the air moving. We’ve been here for a long time, so we know the neighbors and the tea stall guys nearby. It’s a practical setup for making clothes. We don't spend money on decorations or fancy signs. We just focus on getting the garments finished so they can be sent out. It’s a lot of manual work, and the hum of the machines is the main thing you hear from morning until we lock up in the evening.
