It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and the computer equipment, but it has everything we need. Being across from the bank makes it easy for people to give directions. I usually walk to work because I live nearby, so I see the same faces every morning. Ahmedabad can get incredibly hot, so the air conditioning in the office is usually running at full blast from March until October. We don't really have a receptionist or a big waiting room. Most people just call ahead and then come up to the apartment when we are ready for them. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it keeps the costs down and the stress levels low. We handle various consultancy tasks throughout the day and sometimes stay late if there is a deadline. It’s a honest living and we have grown to really like this neighborhood over the years. There are plenty of good tea stalls nearby which is a plus. We don't plan on moving to a bigger office because this place in Laxmi Appartment feels just right for what we do.
