This branch of Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd is tucked away in the Sumadhur-II Flats near the Vastrapur Telephone Exchange. If you know the Bimanagar area in Ahmedabad, you probably have passed by us without even realizing it. We are up in D-201. It’s more of a functional workspace than a corporate showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phones and handling the logistics for Gandhinagar and the surrounding areas. Nehrunagar is always buzzing, so the traffic outside can be a bit much during rush hour, but we manage. Inside, it is mostly just us working through schedules and making sure the transmission lines are being handled right. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a handful of staff members who know the business inside out. Most of our day is spent coordinating with site engineers or checking on supplies. Being near the telephone exchange helps people find us, though we usually tell them to look for the Sumadhur building. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We have been here in Ahmedabad for a bit now, and we like the neighborhood. It’s close to everything we need. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the power infrastructure stays on track. It’s basic, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday and we take things as they come without any fuss.
