If you find the Umiyanagar Bus Stand, you’re basically there. We are tucked right behind it at the Char Rasta. It’s a bit of a crowded area in Kalapinagar with people always rushing for their buses. Our shop isn't very large, hence the name, but we fit everything we need inside. There’s a lot of noise from the street mixed with the sound of our small machines. It gets quite hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We’ve been at this location for years, and the neighbors all know us by now. Sometimes the tea stall guy brings over snacks while we're working on an order. It’s mostly just a few of us here handling the daily tasks. We don’t have fancy signs or a big marketing team. It’s just about getting the parts made and sent out to whoever ordered them. The floor is usually covered in scrap metal bits that we have to clear out every weekend. It gets messy, but it’s honest work. Dealing with the traffic around the bus stand is probably the hardest part of the day. Loading the small vans can be a real headache when the buses are blocking the lane. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a corporate setup, just a local small industry trying to stay busy and pay the bills. The area is always humming with people moving around.
