K Patel & Co is our small setup over at 8 Govindwadi in Isanpur. We are tucked in near Bhagwannagar Society, which is a quiet enough residential area compared to the main roads. We have been here for years, and most of our days are spent dealing with paperwork and talking to people who walk through the door. The office is small, with old desks and a lot of files stacked up. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there is always someone around to answer questions, though we might be busy on the phone. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we see the same faces every morning when we open the shutters. Sometimes we sit outside on a plastic chair when it is not too hot just to watch the street. Being in Isanpur means we are part of the local community here in Ahmedabad. We don't do any big advertising, people just find us by word of mouth or if they live in the society nearby. It is a practical business, focusing on getting things done day by day. We drink a lot of tea while we work and the door stays open to let some air in. It is not a big corporate office, just a local spot where we handle our business honestly.
